Custom Water Bottle Student Art
Lively Bottle proudly supplied custom water bottle student art to award winners of IHSAE (Illinois High School Art Exhibition) General Exhibition held at Zhou B Art Center. Also held was the Senior Scholarship Exhibition, one of Illinois’ largest and most influential student scholarship exhibitions. In the five year history of IHSAE, over $120 million in scholarship offers have been made to high school seniors.
Following is the Lively Bottle video of the General Exhibition, including pictures of happy recipients of Lively Bottle artist custom water bottles – like trophies for artists, and their parents loved them, too!
IHSAE jurors identified 8 categories for submission to the General Exhition: Ceramics, Design, Drawing, Mixed Media, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, and Time Arts. Click here to see the full list of winners.
Some of our favorite quotes and memories from the General Exhibition:
“Everyone is a winner”, said IHSAE board member Chris Sykora of Deerfield High School.
John Zilewicz, IHSAE board member from Niles West High School announced the winners of ECP – Early College Program scholarships offered by representatives from select art schools, colleges and universities across the country.
“Art is what I live for” said tuxedoed Oswego Fine Arts Department Chair Michael Jon Skura, “and treating high school artists like superstars”. Skura also described the Chicagoland 4×5 High School Art Exhibition, the largest “small” art exhibit in the nation, dedicated to the memory of Fremd High School art teacher Lew Hubbard.
Sergio Gomez of Zhou B Art Center is credited with saying “yes” five years ago to the Vision of the IHSAE founders. Said Gomez, “we make art not for judges, but because we think it needs to be made”. Winners of the Visionary Awards were Sophie Centazzo of Deerfield HS, Asher White of Evanston Township HS, Neishamia Kayizzi of James B Conant, Katherine Martinez of Rockford Jefferson and Emmanuelle Copeland of Downers Grove South.
Nick Hostert, IHSAE board member from Palatine HS introduced IHSAE Grant Recipient Jagoda Borkiewicz of Horace Greeley Elementary School, for her project with third graders that aims to connect gentrification in Chicago to the historical removal and relocation of native people. This project emerged out of Jagoda’s participation in the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago’s innovative Teacher Institute program.
Lively Bottle has attended past General Exhibitions, and admires the growth and development we have witnessed. What started as a “vision” is now a really big deal! It fills a huge need in the high school arts community, and is embraced by the students and their families and the university partners. The scholarships and college networking opportunities provided are awesome.
Custom Water Bottle Student ARt
We make artist custom water bottles because other water bottle options are ugly, and we recognize that the world is filled with amazing content created by artists, photographers, and designers, that too often doesn’t get seen. Order your artist custom water bottles using your own design, with no minimum – that’s right, order just one if you’d like by uploading your artwork to LivelyBottle.com and choosing one of our vibrant lid colors. Or buy as many as you’d like and give them to friends and family, or use for fundraising. Everyone welcomes a beautiful, personalized gift. We specialize in fast turnaround, and offer volume discounts.
Lively Bottle is concerned about the environment, which is why we design and make our water bottles locally in Chicago. Lively Bottles have a much lower carbon footprint than water bottles made 7,000 miles away in Asia, which is where most reusable water bottles are produced. And our reusable water bottles are a beautiful alternative to disposable water bottles. And made-local means we create local jobs, too.
Lively Bottles also are a healthy option, which we think starts with a clean water bottle – Lively bottles and lids are dishwasher-safe, unlike most bottles and lids, and our lids are leak proof and easy to open – we don’t use straws or bite valves that are almost impossible to clean and hide gross stuff inside.
